Position Summary: The Metropolis of Snohomish is currently recruiting for Seasonal Maintenance Worker positions to perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance and repair tasks. Function as a team member in the maintenance of streets, water and sewer utility systems, parks, facilities, and municipal grounds. Typical duties include park preparation and maintenance; lawn and garden intendance such as mowing, raking, irrigation, fertilizing, and weeding; and janitorial duties, such as elimination trash receptacles and cleaning park restrooms.   Must be able to work weekends Open until filled.

Examples of Chore Duties:

Summary Description

Maintenance Worker II: This is the total journeying level class within the Maintenance Worker series. 28.   Performs full general maintenance required to keep working areas safe, clean and neat.

Drove/Storm System:

29.   Operates a diversity of equipment, including vactor truck, backhoe, pressure washers, and CCTV inspection equipment.

30.   Performs a variety of sewer collection system tasks such as sewer line cleaning, correction of stoppages, man hole patching, and gravity and force main repairs; completes maintenance and construction of storm drains and sewer lines; performs confined space entry duties as required.

31.   Inputs data using the sewer and stormwater maintenance application software to record repairs and maintenance using iPhone or iPad.

Position Summary: This temporary/ part-time position works part-time performing duties in support of the Snohomish Carnegie. Under the supervision and direction of the Economical Evolution and Communications Manager this position prepares the Snohomish Carnegie for events such as weddings, trade shows, auctions, banquets & corporate events held at the City facility.
